Cyrilla Senators Natural Cigars - Box of 25

A mild, creamy Natural in the larger Senators line, at about $1.84 a cigar.

Cyrilla Senators Natural is the light-wrapper version of the larger Senators line in the Cyrilla range. It carries a Natural wrapper, reported as Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade, over Dominican and Honduran binder and filler. A box holds 25 cigars, priced at $45.99 against a $76.65 list price.

A mild wrapper suits a larger cigar. Connecticut Shade is thin and silky, with light sweetness and woody, toasty undertones, and it does not tire the palate over a longer smoke. That makes this a good pick when you plan to sit down for a while and want something easy and creamy rather than strong.

These are machine-made cigars, built for consistency and a low cost per cigar. They are not hand-rolled, and they are made for mild, simple smoking. The Cyrilla name goes back to the early 1900s, from Chicago to Tampa, and is now held by Arango Cigar Co.

What to expect:

1. A creamy, gentle smoke with light sweetness
2. Woody and toasty notes in the background
3. A mild body that holds steady through a longer session

Who it suits:

1. Mild-cigar smokers who want a bigger cigar than Nationals or Slims
2. Anyone who wants a relaxed, after-meal smoke without strength
3. Buyers who like stocking a box of a larger size at a fair price per cigar

For a darker wrapper in the same line, see Cyrilla Senators Maduro. For the other large line, see Kings Natural. For smaller, cheaper boxes, try Nationals Natural or Slims Natural. More boxes are in our cigar collection.
