Fuerte Sol means "strong sun" in Spanish. The name comes directly from the León family motto that has guided La Aurora since Don Eduardo León Jiménes founded the oldest cigar factory in the Dominican Republic in 1903: "We are a proud family of rural origin, forged with persistent work under a strong sun." The Family Creed Series is La Aurora's tribute to that identity, and Fuerte Sol is the first of four planned releases in the line.
