Bolivar Cofradia No. 754 Churchill was blended by Estelo Padron, the Cuban-born former manager of STG Danlí who worked for years across both the Cuban and non-Cuban cigar worlds, and his heritage informs every part of this blend. At 7.2 x 54, this is a genuinely big Churchill, a firm, well-packed barrel wrapped in a velvety, toothy Ecuadorian Sumatra leaf over a Connecticut Broadleaf binder and aged Honduran and Nicaraguan long-filler tobacco.

The pre-light draw offers nutty and woody notes with a touch of saltiness, and the cold draw brings tea, earth, and cedar. Once lit, heavy earthiness and bell pepper lead the way alongside cedar and a mild chocolate sweetness, with a spicier pepper burn on the finish and tea and red pepper flake surfacing on the retrohale. The first third builds a slight increase in sweetness before the second third settles into semisweet chocolate backed by earth and black pepper, cedar fading into the background while a touch of vegetal bell pepper remains. The final third brings earthiness back to the front as the sweetness recedes, with a touch of espresso bean joining the black pepper through to the end. One detailed reviewer compared the overall smoking experience to the Monaco Grand Prix, full of twists and turns rather than a single straightaway, genuinely impressive complexity for a cigar under seven dollars.

Construction is generally very good, an even burn line and solid ash across most reviews, though it's fair to note some genuine variance specific to this large 754 size, at least one detailed review reported a notably poor draw with barely any smoke until the final third. Most experiences land on the stronger side of that spectrum, and this remains a cigar frequently recommended both to newer smokers exploring bolder blends and to longtime aficionados looking for real value.
