The slimmest ring gauge and the longest format, all the Pennsylvania Broadleaf concentrated into a 46-ring draw.

Every other Last Call Maduro is a parejo: the Geniales at 4.5 x 48 and the Corticas at 4 x 52 are both straight-sided cigars with the same ring gauge foot to head. The Flaquitas breaks from the line entirely with a torpedo shape, a tapered pencil tip cap that narrows to a point at the head, a closed foot that seals the other end, and the narrowest ring gauge in the lineup at 46. The name confirms the concept. Flaquitas means skinny or thin in Spanish, and at 46 ring gauge across six inches this is the most elongated and slimmest vitola in the Last Call Maduro collection on Smokenza.

The structural consequence of the torpedo with a 46-ring body is that the Pennsylvania Broadleaf wrapper is at its highest concentration per draw of any Last Call Maduro format. At 48 ring the Geniales already puts the broadleaf wrapper prominently in front. At 46 ring across a longer cigar the wrapper's influence is even more immediate and more sustained. The PA Broadleaf's dark, espresso-bean brown, toothy oily character runs through six inches with the persistent presence that Cigar Aficionado described as "full of earth and black pepper with a bold, persistent oakiness and a bit of sweet vanilla nougat."

The closed foot at the base means the same lighting approach as the Geniales: toast the wrapper's sealed end until it opens before drawing. What makes the Flaquitas distinct from the Geniales' closed-foot experience is the torpedo head at the other end. A diagonal slice across the tip or a straight cut just below the taper opens the draw. That narrow head delivers the first few draws at even higher wrapper concentration than the body's 46 ring provides. In a Blind Man's Puff blind panel review one taster described the opening: "cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, cumin. I tasted like I was smoking a Thanksgiving dessert. Very warm and nice flavors." Another found the progression developed toward "cinnamon, nutmeg and brown sugar, then spice rum cake on the finish." These are not espresso and chocolate notes. The Flaquitas opens with baking spices as the primary register before the broadleaf's darker coffee and oak qualities take over in the later thirds.

Cigar Dojo noted the Flaquitas "is the biggest of the bunch" in the Last Call lineup, stretching the Last Call concept of short, end-of-evening smokes to its maximum allowed six inches. The slim torpedo at six inches runs approximately sixty minutes, longer than the shorter Last Call sizes.
