The Last Call Habano Geniales established the blend: Ecuadorian Habano Rosado wrapper over AJ Fernandez's own Nicaraguan estate binder and filler, 4.5 x 48, closed foot, box of 25. The Flaquitas extended the lineup when five additional vitolas were added to both Last Call lines in late 2016. At 6 x 46 the Flaquitas is the format that pushes the Last Call Habano furthest from the original short-smoke concept while staying within the six-inch maximum AJ Fernandez set as the ceiling for the entire Portfolio Series line.

The Flaquitas name means skinny or thin in Spanish, which directly describes the 46-ring silhouette. Where the Geniales runs at 48 ring and the Corticas at 52, the Flaquitas at 46 ring is the narrowest in the Habano lineup. At this ring gauge the Ecuadorian Habano Rosado wrapper carries its highest proportional contribution per draw of any standard Last Call Habano format. The cedar, black pepper, and savory, creamy qualities that define the Rosado wrapper's character are most immediately and most consistently present at 46 ring.

The torpedo construction adds a further layer to this. The pencil tip cap narrows even below 46 ring at the very tip, which concentrates the wrapper's character even more intensely through the opening draws before the full body opens. Combined with the closed foot at the other end, the Flaquitas is the most construction-intensive vitola in the Last Call Habano lineup. Both ends are sealed and both ends change the way the tobacco delivers its flavor. The foot opens gradually from the toasted wrapper.
